Curio provides access to more than 10,000 video and audio assets selected for their relevance.

A service for educators

Launched in 2013, Curio is an online, subscription-based streaming service developed by CBC and Radio-Canada specifically for educational institutions in Canada.

Curio offers schools access to thousands of educational programs, including news reports, documentaries, podcasts, archival clips and kids programming – all advertising-free.

Content is available in both English and French, curated and aligned to K–12 curricula and supporting post-secondary courses across the country.

Relevant to curriculum

The CBC/Radio-Canada content selected for Curio spans a wide-range of subjects such as Canadian history, politics, Indigenous studies, science, health, arts, business, and more.

Teacher guides accompany key titles to help educators integrate the content into their learning materials.
